JAZZ AT CHESTER HILL

Mel took me to Barbara's retirement village late yesterday afternoon.   The complex is  huge, with spacious grounds.  Walking paths meander between large trees that are about to burst forth with spring leaves.  All that is visible from the lounge dining room.

A concrete raised walkway finally leads to Barbaras unit which is very spacious and beautifully decorated with her personal effects,  A lounge/dining area divides two bedrooms two bathrooms.
Barbara prefers not to cook dinner, as meals are provided in a dining room at a small cost.  She goes to activities, arts and crafts etc, and is very happy she made the move from her large home at Luray in Virginia,  having family nearby is another plus.

Lastnight Ginny and Jon arrived from Connecticut and took us to dinner at a jazz club. great music and food.  A trio of black musicians,  they sure have the tempo.  The singer scattered like Ella!
Today we drive to the southern most point of New Jersey where we could paddle in the ocean!!  The weather is perfect, but will give the water a miss.
