MARGARET'S ACTIVITIES

We are on the highway from New York to Philadelphia, having spent the day with Anme's son BZen and his family.  We arrived at Central Park at 11.am after driving around a few blocks before finding a car park three blocks from the park.  The perfect spring day brought families to the park for sport and picnics.  The huge popular park for people living in units and apartments  has walking paths and sporting grounds, but lacks tables and places to sit.

Alex's soft ball game had commenced by the time we placed, our folding chairs and rugs on the grass beside the field.  Jen arrived with sandwiches for lunch, while Ben poured a chilled white wine. Sophie and Sabrina entertained with stories of their recent week in London.   Game over we went to Jen and Ben's apartment one block from the other end of the park.  After a cool drink, we walked three blocks to the children's school where many children were playing, some on skate boards.

Traffic is flowing at 110 ks per hour on the five lane expressway, so all being well we should be home safely after a couple of hours.
