Today we drove west from Philadelphia for one hour to the Brandywine Museum that exhibits paintings by three generations of the Wyeth family. The building is situated beside a river that flows through beautiful park lands. A twenty minute drive further west brought us to a winery where we laid out our picnic lunch on a table at the back of the winery. After a tasting of good wines, we headed for home on a scenic back road, arriving home in time for a nap before leaving to hear music and singing at. A Piano bar, 3/4 hr drive north.
The pianist was very entertaining as were most of the singers who weren't shy to perform. Yours truly remained seated at the grand piano. Right now we are driving home in heavy traffic due to road works. We had planned to do the Cinderella thing! New York tomorrow to watch Anne's grandson play soft ball.
